Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing internal communications strategies that engage and inform employees about key initiatives and changes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Plan and deliver internal communications for small and large projects, including newsletters, employee events, and other initiatives.
  • Develop creative campaigns to reach colleagues across the organization, including writing and editing content for various channels.
  • Help deliver change by crafting engaging, audience-focused communications that inform employees of key initiatives and their impact.
  • Develop messaging suitable for different audiences and share it through the most appropriate channels to drive engagement.
  • Train and share knowledge with internal teams and Line Managers to empower them to deliver high-quality and impactful communications within their areas.
  • Manage internal communication channels and ensure that communications metrics are employed to review and monitor the effectiveness of communications.
  • Work with leaders to develop and create content and presentations for town halls and colleague events.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in internal communications, preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective internal communications strategies that engage and inform employees.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for various channels.
  • Experience working in a hybrid working environment and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure the effectiveness of communications.
