About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Clinical Oncologist to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Adult Oncology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with Upper Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, including oesophago gastric and hepato biliary cancers, and Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver all aspects of clinical care for patients in the services you will be supporting, including outpatient clinics, ward rounds, radiotherapy planning, and attendance at relevant MDTs.
  • Have an on-call commitment, including responsibility for being an ARSAC license holder.
  • Work collaboratively with established teams of consultants to deliver care and contribute to the development of our services.
  • Participate in research and contribute to the growth of our clinical trials unit, actively recruiting in over 100 trials.
