### Job Overview

SRG is supporting a cutting-edge biotech start-up in their recruitment needs. The company is developing a novel synthetic biology platform using CRISPR methodology to engineer iPSCs. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Laboratory & Facilities Technician to join the Scientific Operations Team.

### Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the scientific facilities and equipment are operating safely and provide ongoing support to all scientific functions.
* Add reagents to the online inventory system upon arrival.
* Establish a basic equipment calibration and lab cleaning/maintenance schedule.
* Ensure equipment is PAT tested and organize this when required.
* Ensure compressed gases are ordered and supplied to the labs and laundry is collected, exchanged, and distributed.

### Ideal Candidate

* Scientific background with proven experience in a laboratory support setting.
* Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
