Senior Manager, Traveler Research & Insight

Are you passionate about understanding travelers and using research and insight to drive business growth?

In this role, you will lead our Trends and Culture and Market and Category pillars, delivering strategic insights to our partners to enable them to understand wider market trends, traveler behavior, and their needs, and how they interact with our category and brands. You'll help drive business growth by providing research-led recommendations to marketing teams and leadership on market growth opportunities, audience, and brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead market research and analysis across all our brands and markets, identifying key trends and insights to inform business decisions.
  2. Oversee all projects and insights in this area, ensuring excellent execution and the delivery of actionable insights to drive maximum business impact.
  3. Create and execute a research roadmap for your area, working with stakeholders across teams to ensure their research needs are being met.
  4. Proactively identify opportunities to use market research to drive business growth.
  5. Collaborate with other teams such as: UX, loyalty, and customer analytics to build holistic insights and views of the market.
  6. Work with our Brand Measurement lead to join the dots across our department and support the Head of Research and Insight in surfacing the right work to leaders across the business.
  7. Be a leader within the team: coach other researchers, drive the latest research thinking, and maximize our relationships with our agency partners.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 8 years' experience in market research and analysis across agency/client side (Agency and client-side experience preferred, but high performing agency only candidates are welcomed).
  2. Strong track record of leading and executing global research focused on solving strategic market and consumer questions.
  3. Experience driving application of insights through entire organizations, across multiple teams and up to marketing leadership and beyond.
  4. Can translate complex data sets into compelling market stories that focus on 'need to know' insights.
  5. Able to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders all with different priorities and styles - from data focused to creatively led.
  6. Results-oriented, balancing long-term objectives and short-term performance.
