Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical solutions for IT-based systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales and Product teams, to ensure effective governance, evaluation, and approval of technical solutions.
  • Provide design leadership and oversight across the project team, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Work closely with 3rd party suppliers and customers to discuss and agree architecture components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and technical specifications.
  • Ensure that all technical solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Relevant industry experience in a comparable role, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and technical solutions.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing technical solutions for IT-based systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows client and server architecture, including Windows 10/11, Server 2019/2022, and DELL hardware.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Domain Architecture.
  • Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V or VmWare.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and industry standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree or higher in a technical-based subject.
  • Experience with formal design methodologies, such as TOGAF.
  • Knowledge of SIP protocol and scripting experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including solution design, deployment, and security.
