Mission :
As a key member of the Digital Power Solutions team, you will deliver comprehensive technical assistance to Sales & Tendering teams throughout the pre-sales and bidding stages of intricate multi-technology customer projects.
Your role is crucial in meeting customer service expectations while aligning with Schneider Electric's business objectives to enhance quotation lead times and improve conversion rates from quotation to order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in defining the optimal architecture and technical solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Identify and manage technical risks, including all interfaces, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure compliant and optimized proposals.
- Assume accountability for the technical viability of the proposed architecture and solutions, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in multi-technology design for clients.
- Develop and maintain a repository of optimized 'core' system architectures to serve as a foundation for creating project-specific proposals or for rapid responses to budgetary inquiries.
- Establish and maintain a library of optimized 'core' system Bills of Materials (BoMs) for generating project-specific proposals or quick budgetary responses.
- Engage in the RFQ/RFP evaluation and Bid/No Bid decision-making process to assess alignment with Schneider Electric's project and product offerings.
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Automation solutions and product expertise, including application use cases and functionalities necessary for recommending suitable Power Monitoring Systems, SCADA, Automation, Protection, and RTU solutions.
- Understanding of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems.
- Familiarity with competitor offerings and current switchgear technologies.
- Awareness of the company's manufacturing and procurement strategies and capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse cultures.
- Proficient in PC usage, including Windows and Office 365.
- Essential: Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Desirable: Training in Project Management, Commercial Management, Contract Management, or Purchasing.
