About the Role:

As a Class Underwriter at Bruin, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our property portfolio. You will lead and develop the US Property Account, driving new business and managing existing portfolios. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure business targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead new business onboarding and renewals for US property binding authority accounts.
  • Collaborate with our syndicate departments, including actuarial, claims, and compliance.
  • Monitor binder portfolio performance and implement necessary updates.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with coverholders, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to cross-class initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

About You:

  • 5+ years of underwriting experience in US property (delegated authority).
  • Strong understanding of the US property market.
  • ACII qualification (or working towards) is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
