An exciting opportunity has emerged within the Infectious Diseases Unit for a part-time Ward Support Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks and manage supply orders.
  • Handle phone inquiries and interact with the public on a daily basis.
  • Execute general duties to maintain a seamless and efficient ward operation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Nursing and Medical teams, necessitating strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the computer systems utilized within NHS Scotland is advantageous, although training will be provided.

Compliance with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland is mandatory throughout your employment. Additional information regarding the Healthcare Support Worker Regulations can be accessed through the NHS Tayside microsite.

Work Schedule: 14.9 hours per week, specifically on Thursdays and Fridays, with the possibility of covering annual leave as needed.

  • This position does not meet Home Office Guidelines for Sponsorship/Skilled Worker Visa.
