Horse Care Specialist

At Daniel Thwaites Head Office, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Horse Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our equine care team, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of our four Shire horses.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional care and attention to the horses, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being at all times.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for each horse, taking into account their unique needs and requirements.
- Assist with the training and handling of the horses, ensuring they are well-behaved and responsive to commands.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the horse stables, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the horses.
- Collaborate with the equine care team to ensure the horses receive the best possible care and attention.
- Proven experience in horse care and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Full driving license and ability to transport horses safely.
