Job Details

We're seeking a skilled Home Claims Team Leader to support our goal of becoming a market-leading home claims handling function. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and managing annual and monthly objectives, providing coaching and development plans, and ensuring payments are authorized in line with our departmental SLA's.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Hastings Direct goal to become a market-leading home claims handling function
  • Set and manage annual and monthly objectives, providing coaching and development plans to support ongoing progression
  • Ensure payments are authorized in line with our departmental SLA's
  • Oversee guidance and advice in respect of technical referrals
  • Conduct regular monthly audits on colleagues
  • Engage and motivate the team, delivering effective meetings
  • Support the overall quality of claims handling internally and by outsourced partners
Requirements
  • Previously leadership experience, preferably in contact centre, claims, or home claims
  • Strong customer and colleague focus
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
