Job Overview

Service Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Adult Social Care Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis. The role is initially a 6-month contract and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with one day spent in the office per week.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and progressing a full caseload of matters related to Adult Social Care Law, Education, and Employment. This will include:

  • Managing and progressing full caseloads of matters in relation to Adult Social Care Law, Education, and Employment
  • Providing legislative advice, litigation, and advocacy services on behalf of the council
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out to the requirements of relevant clients and to appropriate professional standards
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) as a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Barrister
  • At least 12 months' worth of Adult Social Care law case management progression experience
  • Previous public sector working experience, which would be highly desirable for this position
