Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our Technical team, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

About the Role:
  • Lead the engineering team in the design and delivery of infrastructure projects for residential developments, including roads, drainage, utilities, and landscaping.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on engineering matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
  • Conduct site inspections, assessments, and surveys as required, identifying risks and proposing solutions to mitigate them.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records, including design drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering and construction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior engineering role within the residential construction industry, with a strong track record of delivering infrastructure projects.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice governing civil engineering and construction.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites within Buckinghamshire, Northampton, Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas.
