Chief Engineer Job Description

Meliá Hotels International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Authorize the purchase of technical products and supervise their correct use and expenditure.
  • Monitor hotel energy consumption and ensure the proper use and performance of facilities.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to monitor and control technical and legal standards applicable to facilities and buildings.
  • Update the data room with information on the hotels in the Operations Centre.
  • Analyze and solve possible incidents that may arise within the department.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2/3 years' experience in field.
  • Highly knowledgeable in all elements of hotel maintenance.
  • Handling energy efficiency tools.
  • Budget preparation and management.
