About the Role

The FabLab Research Engineer (Electronics & Embedded Systems) plays a key role in the design, development, and deployment of new research instruments. Working closely with the innovation and research team, you will support and accelerate scientific research through the creation of cutting-edge electronics and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analogue and digital electronics for research applications
  • Manufacture, assemble, and validate prototype electronic circuits
  • Provide expert advice and support to engineers and scientists on electronics-related matters
  • Maintain and operate the in-house PCB prototyping facility
Working Environment

The FabLab offers a dynamic and collaborative working environment equipped with state-of-the-art design and manufacturing technologies. You will have access to a multidisciplinary MakerSpace facility, enabling scientists to creatively experiment and prototype ideas.
