We are on the lookout for a Senior to Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant with a strong background in offshore wind energy.

Proven experience in obtaining consents for offshore wind initiatives in Scotland is crucial. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including regulatory bodies, consultancy firms, or energy developers.

Our organization promotes a flexible working environment, allowing you to operate from any of our various offices across the UK. We embrace a hybrid working model, typically requiring around eight days per month in the office.


Our esteemed clients include some of the most prominent developers in the industry, and we engage in a broad spectrum of projects encompassing onshore and offshore wind, green hydrogen, solar energy, battery storage, and grid connectivity.

We also extend our expertise to governmental advisory roles.


As part of our dynamic and expanding team, you will deliver expert environmental consultancy services to both internal and external stakeholders while mentoring junior team members.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing environmental contributions for planning submissions, which encompass screening, scoping, comprehensive environmental assessments, and large-scale EIA projects, in addition to managing post-planning condition discharges.

About You:

To excel in this role, you must have a solid background in consenting and marine licensing for offshore wind projects in Scotland.

A degree in an environmental discipline is required, along with relevant experience from consulting, regulatory, or industry settings. A thorough understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes is essential.
