Are you passionate about contributing to groundbreaking projects in the offshore wind sector? The ERM International Group Limited is a prominent consultancy specializing in the environmental assessment of floating offshore wind initiatives, and we are looking for your expertise.

We are in search of a Senior to Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant, based on your experience, with a focus on offshore wind energy.

Experience in obtaining consents for offshore wind projects in Scotland is crucial, and we welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds in regulatory bodies, consultancy firms, or development companies.

At ERM, we embrace a flexible working environment, allowing this position to be located in any of our various offices across the UK.

We operate on a hybrid model, with approximately eight days per month required in the office.


Our esteemed clients include some of the largest developers in the industry, and we engage in a diverse range of projects, including onshore and offshore wind, green hydrogen, solar energy, battery storage, and grid connections.

Additionally, we provide consultancy services to governmental organizations.


As part of our dynamic and expanding team, you will deliver expert environmental consultancy services to both internal and external stakeholders while mentoring junior team members.

Your responsibilities will include leading environmental contributions for planning submissions, covering all stages from screening and scoping to comprehensive environmental appraisals and extensive EIA projects, as well as managing post-planning condition discharges.

About you:

To excel in this role, you must have experience in consenting and marine licensing for offshore wind projects in Scotland.

You should hold a degree in an environmental discipline, with relevant experience gained from previous roles in consulting, regulatory, or industry settings, and possess a thorough understanding of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
