Environmental and Sustainability Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Manager to join our team at Morgan Hunt. As a key member of our Estates and Capital Projects department, you will play a crucial role in implementing our Green Strategy and driving environmental sustainability practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of our Green Strategy, working closely with the Director of Estates and Capital Projects and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and embed environmental sustainability practices across the organization, resulting in a measurable reduction in our environmental footprint.
  • Advise and inform on estate decarbonisation, prioritizing and costing work with the Director of Estates and Capital Projects.
  • Act as a champion for environmental sustainability, promoting and raising awareness of emerging environmental issues and the impact of our work.
  • Work with the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications to develop and implement our engagement strategy on environmental sustainability.
  • Take responsibility for professional development, ensuring full compliance with all internal and external training requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in environmental sustainability management, with a strong understanding of Green Strategy and decarbonisation.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track and measure environmental performance data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
