Job Summary
We are currently looking to recruit a Reception Team Supervisor on a permanent contract to work Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the reception team during practice opening times.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reception team to provide a high-quality service to registered patients.
- Work closely with the Practice Manager and practice team to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure effective communication with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement processes to improve patient flow and reduce waiting times.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Primary care experience, preferably in a GP practice.
- Experience of working with clinical systems, preferably Emis.
- Proven ability to work under own initiative and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage difficult situations.
