Job Title: CNC Machinist

Magellan Aerospace Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Blackpool, UK.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CNC Machinist to work on the machining of aircraft components from generated engineering models to prescribed customer specification, using aluminum or titanium metal as required, utilising 3, 4 and 5 axis machine tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain 3, 4 and 5 axis machine tools to produce high-quality aircraft components.
  • Set up and operate machine tools to achieve precise tolerances and surface finishes.
  • Inspect and test components to ensure they meet customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve machining problems and improve process efficiency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and quality.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in 3, 4 and 5 axis machining.
  • Knowledge of controls and health and safety procedures.
  • Desirable: Aerospace manufacturing experience and HNC qualification.
