Speech and Language Therapist

Job Summary:
GSL Education is seeking an experienced and passionate speech and language therapist to join our dedicated team. As a speech and language therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders in children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address individual needs, working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Monitor and review progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate therapy into the classroom environment, promoting seamless learning experiences.
- Provide training and support to school staff and parents to facilitate ongoing development and improvement.
Requirements:
- Must hold HCPC registration and be RCSLT compliant.
- Proven experience as a speech and language therapist, with a focus on working with children and young people.
- Experience in conducting annual reviews and managing EHCPs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
