About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Lead to join our Procurement & Supply Chain department on a permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing activities, supporting all areas of the business. This is a critical role in our supply chain transformation, and you will have the opportunity to lead strategic negotiations at high value levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the sourcing strategy in collaboration with the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activity, including market assessments, complex supplier negotiations, and contract implementation.
  • Negotiate contracts and support the onboarding of suppliers through a robust due diligence process.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with our governance framework and manage relationships to deliver contractual obligations.
  • Measure performance and risk, and ensure commercial value and governance throughout the contract lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Experience working across the business, developing and implementing sourcing plans, and identifying trends and market conditions.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with experience in leading high-value, complex sourcing activities.
  • Ability to constructively challenge buying trends and processes, leveraging new technologies to secure sustainable savings.
  • Good data analytical skills, with the ability to understand financial, economic, risk, and contractual data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
