Role Overview:
As an Educational Support Assistant, you will be integral to our inclusive educational setting, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals to enrich the learning journey of our students.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with special educational needs within a classroom environment.
  • Help in the preparation and execution of engaging lessons, collaborating closely with the lead educator.
  • Modify educational resources and activities to accommodate individual learning requirements, ensuring all students can participate fully.
  • Support students with personal care and additional needs, encouraging independence and creating a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Build strong relationships with students to promote their emotional health and academic success.
  • Work in partnership with the lead educator, therapists, and other specialists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is highly advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting children with complex needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, showcasing flexibility and adaptability.
