About the Role

We're seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our People Insight team at Screwfix Direct Ltd. As a key member of our HR leadership team, you'll play a crucial role in helping us get the most out of our People data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our people data strategy, driving proactive use of information and analytics capability.
  • Provide regular reporting and analytics to the HR team, supporting them in using data to better understand their teams.
  • Collaborate with the People Insight Manager and Analyst to identify key themes, gaps, and opportunities in our colleague data and feedback.
  • Work with HR to define key metrics, targets, and measures, and support them in meeting these goals.
  • Interpret and explore business problems using people data, providing insights to inform decision-making.
  • Build relationships across HR, understanding different data needs and supporting them in building their own capabilities.
Requirements
  • Experience of using SAP HR and proficiency in Excel, including macros, V lookups, Pivot tables, VBA, Power Pivot, and Power Query.
  • Experience of using Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across HR and other stakeholders.
