Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our dynamic team at Robert Walters. As an Assistant Accounting Manager, you will play a vital role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting the development of junior team members, and enhancing accounting workflows.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Manager to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our clients. As an Accounting Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Supporting the management team and Principals of the firm in achieving business objectives.
  • Reviewing and finalizing accounts under the guidance of the Senior Manager and Principals.
  • Preparing Corporate Tax Returns for FRS 105 clients.
  • Developing and maintaining efficient accounting workflows and processes.
  • Assisting in the development and mentorship of junior team members.
  • Building and managing strong client relationships.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification with 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting standards and both direct and indirect taxes.
  • Significant experience with Xero accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills.
