We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our dynamic team at Robert Walters. As an Assistant Accounting Manager, you will play a vital role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting the development of junior team members, and enhancing accounting workflows.
About the Role:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients within the accounts team.
- Support the management team and Principals of the firm in achieving business objectives.
- Review and finalize accounts under the guidance of the Senior Manager and Principals.
- Prepare Corporate Tax Returns for FRS 105 clients.
- Develop and maintain efficient accounting workflows and processes.
- Assist in the development and mentorship of junior team members.
- Build and manage strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with 1-2 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting standards and both direct and indirect taxes.
- Significant experience with Xero accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
- A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills.
