The Role

As the Executive Chef Manager, you will have full operational and financial responsibility for our school catering facilities. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, as well as driving sales through innovative promotions and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team, providing coaching, training, and motivation to ensure exceptional service standards.
  • Manage catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs, to maintain profitability and efficiency.
  • Oversee menu development, ensuring consistency and quality of food offerings.
  • Drive sales growth through targeted promotions and events.
  • Monitor and improve controllable costs, maintaining a focus on financial management.
  • Maintain company systems, procedures, and legislative compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure standards are met.

  • OND or HND qualification in a culinary field (desirable).
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and sales targets.
  • Line management experience.
  • Experience in a similar environment.
