We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Underwriting Advisor. As a key member of our contact centre team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible health insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess medical reports and liaise with healthcare professionals to establish eligibility for health insurance coverage.
- Review and process new business applications, maintenance of existing membership, and special condition-related enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate with customers to obtain relevant medical information and provide clear and concise decisions on their health insurance claims.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient claims processing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a contact centre environment with strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy on sensitive medical issues.
- Good attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex customer issues.
- Proficient keyboard skills and ability to navigate PC systems.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
