We are seeking an Assistant Buyer for Cycling to contribute significantly to enhancing business outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Buyer to curate exceptional product assortments, refine pricing strategies, and implement effective promotional activities aimed at achieving financial objectives and expanding market presence. Your ability to work in partnership with diverse teams, including Customer Service, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Digital Operations, will be essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute category strategies focused on supplier management, purchasing, product assortment, and margin optimization.
- Assess and oversee category performance to align with revenue, margin, profit, and market share goals.
- Leverage supplier relationships and purchasing collaborations to drive procurement advantages.
- Champion environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives concerning packaging, products, and emissions.
- Ensure precise product data management and prompt delivery schedules.
- Encourage innovation within product categories.
