Data Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Systems Administrator to join our team at co Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the infrastructure that delivers our self-managed and managed services to our customers in the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve escalated issues and provide coaching to other departmental staff.
- Implement and maintain effective monitoring of systems and services.
- Participate in the on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.
- Occasional travel to various offices and data centers.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in an IT Systems role, with 5 years as a Linux/Windows senior administrator/engineer in the ISP industry.
- Strong IT skills in an Internet environment.
- Strong Windows Server administration skills in a hosting environment.
- Experience with SQL systems administration, specifically MSSQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB.
- Experience with Dell server hardware.
- Experience with common web platforms (Umbraco/Magento/WordPress) and their setup/operation.
- Experience with load balancing and HA platforms (DB replication/load balancing).
- Knowledge and experience with at least one shell scripting language (e.g., bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge and experience with configuration management tooling.
- Experience with change management and configuration policies.
- Flexible team-focused thinking.
- Coordinating projects.
- Project management.
