Key Role: Technical Records Controller

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Technical Records Controller. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of technical data related to aircraft flight utilization and defects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Enter daily aircraft flight times, defects, and rectification actions into our system.
  2. Ensure the continuity of accurate aircraft times within the technical log and log books.
  3. Process aircraft technical defects with high accuracy to ensure reliable data presentation.
  4. Audit completed aircraft technical log pages and work orders for compliance.
  5. Liaise with P145 suppliers to ensure timely return of maintenance records.
  6. Collaborate with maintenance planning to report discrepancies affecting scheduled maintenance requirements.
  7. Manage department email, directing queries to responsible personnel and responding within a reasonable timeframe.
  8. Control the flow of digital records, maintaining a robust and regulated system.
  9. Receive and process physical paperwork from internal and external parties, ensuring timely archiving.
  10. Scan physical paperwork, ensuring digital records are available before storage.
  11. Compile and submit monthly utilization reports for lessors and airlines.
  12. Support the CAMO Subcontractor with records management and respond to their queries.
  13. Liaise with in-house and contracted P145 regarding paperwork return timeframes.
  14. Perform additional tasks as directed by the Lead Technical Records and Planning Engineer.

Requirements:

  1. Demonstrable proactive characteristics.
  2. Experience managing workflow and completing tasks within set timescales.
  3. Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  4. Confident and clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Ability to interpret OEM and airline technical documentation.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with M&E software systems Trax Emro.
  2. Previous experience processing technical data in a Pt145 or CAMO environment.
  3. Working with third-party customer aircraft.
  4. Experience with aircraft types within the West Atlantic UK fleet.
