People Operations Partner

MacGregor Black is collaborating with a consumer goods organization to identify a People Operations Partner. This is a permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute HR strategies and initiatives that are in harmony with the overarching business objectives.
  • Engage with senior management to comprehend and implement the organization’s HR and talent strategy, particularly concerning current and future workforce requirements, recruitment, retention, and succession planning.
  • Offer guidance and interpretation on HR policies.
  • Address and resolve intricate employee relations matters. Conduct thorough and impartial investigations.
  • Work alongside recruitment teams to facilitate the hiring process, ensuring the attraction of high-caliber talent.
  • Identify and evaluate present and future training requirements through job analysis, career pathways, annual performance evaluations, and discussions with line managers.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures throughout the organization.
  • Lead the performance management process, encompassing goal setting, development plans, and performance assessments.
  • Provide performance management support to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • CIPD certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Demonstrated HR experience (5+ years) in a comparable role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience with HR metrics and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong business insight and comprehension of the FMCG landscape.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven capability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Robust problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • High ethical standards and the capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information.
