About the Role

We are seeking a proficient Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist to join our dynamic team at Skilled Careers. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective coordination and management of project workflows, which are essential for the creation and management of digital information in alignment with the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development of the model to meet the specified levels of information, adhering strictly to established standards, methods, and procedures as outlined in the project BEP.
  • Conduct clash detection and model coordination, addressing any model-related issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Regional BIM managers to customize the Revit Project Template, ensuring it meets discipline-specific requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate the BIM kickoff meeting in conjunction with Regional BIM and Information Management managers.
  • Support project teams with modeling and detailing tasks across various projects.
  • Coordinate with other offices regarding all aspects of project setup and delivery, ensuring compliance with UK standards and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain a Risk Register, assisting in the resolution of BIM design challenges.
  • Manage and maintain project content, fulfilling requests for additional resources as needed.
  • Contribute to the technical delivery of BIM projects through effective CAD and BIM coordination.
