Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at Beauparc Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of waste in line with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the Hook and Skip trucks to collect and transport waste to designated facilities.
- Conduct daily or weekly vehicle condition checks to ensure compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Meet assigned collection and delivery targets on a daily/weekly basis.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, waste collection, and delivery activities.
- Assist in route optimization using GPS systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned company vehicles to agreed standards.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to improve customer service and increase business opportunities.
- Work flexibly to meet the requirements of the depot and support the team in achieving business objectives.
- Participate in company-mandated training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 license.
- CPC qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Previous experience as an HGV driver, preferably in waste management or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of HGV vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
- Excellent driving and navigation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
