Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Knowledge: Understand, develop, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of National Grid's priorities, outcomes, and vision, and translate them into digital charters and roadmaps.
- Strategic Focus: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive directorate and technical priorities, focusing on future-looking digital charters and roadmaps.
- Business Situation Analysis: Plan, manage, and investigate complex business situations, identifying opportunities and challenges.
- Business Case Development: Create compelling business cases for opportunities and problems, ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities.
- Demand Management: Manage demand from directorates with a digital-first mindset, leveraging technology to meet business goals and objectives.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide concise and well-informed reports to stakeholders and Ofgem, including cost monitoring frameworks and scheme reports.
- Staying Ahead of the Curve: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, applying them to business analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in planning, business analysis, relationship management, and/or driving delivery.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent digital, data, or technology-specific industry experience.
- Skills: Strong business analysis, change leadership, strategic thinking, and planning skills, with experience in digital transformation, mindset, and culture.
- Knowledge: Core understanding of Digital Delivery and Agile DevSecOps aspects, including design thinking, CI/CD, Cloud, value measurement, and benefit tracking.
- Competitive Salary: £52,000 - £73,000, dependent on experience and capability.
- Bonus Scheme: Up to 15% of salary for stretch performance.
- Annual Leave: 28 days as standard.
- Pension Scheme: Competitive contributory pension scheme with company matching.
