Cyber Security Analyst

About the Role:
The Ardonagh Group is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Security team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical security support and expertise to ensure the security and integrity of our digital systems and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver security processes and analysis to monitor and protect our business from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with our Chief Information Security Officer to provide technical security support and expertise.
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities, and manage and report accordingly.
- Provide support to analyze and assess network and infrastructure security management provision, and provide proactive security recommendations.
- Carry out risk assessments and investigations, and research and report on cyber security related topics.
- Understand current threat landscapes and risk profiles, and advise on security countermeasures.
- Monitor and report on key security metrics and progress updates.
- Help develop and maintain service descriptions, processes, procedures, and best practice guidelines for technical cyber security operational services.
- Respond to security threats, alerts, and incidents, and log security incidents, risks, and issues in relative registers.
Requirements:
- Cyber security experience in a large complex corporate environment, working with multiple partners, teams, and project activity.
- Proven knowledge and experience of IT and information security policies, practices, and standards.
- Knowledge of current technologies in the field, and the ability to learn new ones.
- Incident management experience, including investigations and response.
Person Specification:
- A passion for Information/Cyber Security, with a high level of autonomy, integrity, and assertiveness.
- Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to probe and question to obtain accurate information.
