Job Overview

To work as an autonomous, clinical highly Specialist Physiotherapist, providing a high standard of specialist assessment and treatment of patients. Utilizing evidence-based principles and advanced clinical skills, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.

Main Duties
  1. To be professionally and legally accountable and responsible for all aspects of professional practice, including the management of patients in your care.
  2. To work within Health Board clinical protocols, procedures, and guidelines, and Professional Standards set by the HCPC and CSP.
  3. To support the delivery of the clinical service across BCUHB in a variety of locations, according to service demands, delivering a high-quality service in line with the clinical governance agenda.
  4. To undertake comprehensive assessments and accurate diagnoses of patients, including those with highly complex presentations, using extended investigative, analytical, and advanced clinical reasoning skills.
  5. To undertake physical treatments utilizing highly developed manual skills, in-depth knowledge of pain sciences, and the physiology of exercise, extended scope skills, and an advanced understanding of the intricacies of communication with respect to the psychosocial predictors of health.
