About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Ty Llywelyn, a Forensic Medium Secure Unit in North Wales. As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide holistic nursing care to service users, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring individualized and person-centered approaches.
  • Participate in regular clinical and managerial supervision, promoting best practice and continuous professional development.

Person Specification
  • NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
  • Experience of working in a secure or forensic mental health setting.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Mental Health Capacity Act.
