Job Summary

Solutions Driven is seeking an experienced Chief Engineering Program Manager to oversee the execution of engineering functions within specific programs and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program execution, customer engagement, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Execution: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet contract requirements, are delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to quality standards.
  • Customer Engagement: Represent the project engineering function for the execution of all aspects of programs/projects/bids relating to internal or external stakeholders.
  • Technical Leadership: Ensure that proposed technical solutions meet technical contract requirements and communicate across all relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Process Management: Ensure adherence to internal processes for the development/certification of products at the engineering project level, including change management, configuration management, risk management, and quality management.
  • Project Planning: Provide and manage project plans, engineering schedules, task definition, effort estimations, and risks/opportunities.
  • Technical Development: Coordinate technical development tasks, priorities, dependencies, and design reviews across all engineering disciplines with the support of a Systems Engineer.
  • Resource Management: Align demand for project engineering resources with the support of line managers.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience developing programs/projects and certification aspects.
  • Skills: Strong skills in program execution, customer engagement, and team collaboration. Must be able to drive execution without direct control over resources.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience in highly regulated environments, such as the aerospace or defense industry. Experience with security classifications or similar regulations is important due to the nature of some programs being classified.
  • International Experience: International experience in managing technical teams or leading technical solutions and execution.
  • Engineering Disciplines: Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines, such as Systems, Hardware, Firmware, Software, or Verification & Validation, to manage all development phases and challenge technical solutions.
