JOB DETAILS:
JO Recruitment is seeking dedicated Child and Family Support Specialists to assist families and children facing various challenges, including substance misuse, parental incarceration, disabilities, and communication barriers that hinder access to essential services. The role involves providing support in areas such as home management, financial guidance, and parenting skills.
This position is temporary and full-time, requiring 37 hours per week, with a pay rate of £16.26 per hour PAYE, equivalent to an annual salary of £31,284, or £21.13 per hour through an umbrella company.
The role is hybrid, involving two days in the office and home visits. An Enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this position.Candidates must be willing to travel within Walsall and occasionally outside the borough.
Responsibilities include working independently in various settings, such as family homes, educational institutions, and community environments.- Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.
- Proven experience working with children and young people is essential.
- Experience supporting children and young individuals with special educational needs is necessary.
- Background in assisting families with complex needs or those at risk of entering the care system is crucial.
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary environment is advantageous.
