Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Specialist
We are collaborating with a leading FMCG Manufacturer seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to enhance their quality team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with both company and customer quality standards by working closely with QA Supervisors and Technicians.
- Identify and manage products on hold, ensuring that corrective actions are executed according to specific requirements.
- Maintain effective communication across the organization.
- Conduct thorough analyses of raw materials, certifications, products, processes, and packaging to assess their suitability.
- Ensure adherence to systems and procedures that guarantee product quality, safety, legality, and authenticity from raw material preparation to finished goods.
- Participate in customer complaint investigations to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
- Maintain appropriate traceability systems and engage in challenges related to traceability.
- Collaborate with production, warehousing, planning, customer service, and senior leadership to communicate product status effectively.
- Familiarize yourself with departmental work instructions, procedures, and analytical methods, particularly HPLC.
- Provide auditing functions to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete, assisting with CCP audit training and team briefings as necessary.
- Conduct stock-takes of chemicals and equipment to ensure adequate supplies, reporting low levels to the QA supervisor.
- Facilitate the positive release of finished products through laboratory analysis of aflatoxin using HPLC.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance systems.
- Understanding of Food Safety and HACCP principles.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and noisy environment.
Salary and Benefits:
£25,000 - £28,000 per year

Work Schedule:
12-hour shifts, averaging 42 hours per week, with a rotation of 4 on and 4 off, including day and night shifts.
