We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Performance Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Analysis:

  • Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

2. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across various departments.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders, ensuring they understand key metrics and implications.
  • Support the CFO and CEO through fundraising rounds through Cap Table Scenario modelling.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategies.
  • Collaborate with departments to develop accurate and realistic financial plans.

4. Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor financial performance against targets and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on financial performance to senior management.

5. Inquisitive Approach:

  • Demonstrate a proactive and curious mindset in analysing financial data and business operations.
  • Seek out and address underlying issues and opportunities for process improvement.

6. Decision Support:

  • Support senior leaders in making informed decisions by providing comprehensive financial analyses and scenario planning.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and operational changes.
  • Optimise Customer Pricing models to deliver maximum commercial Impact to the business.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide tailored support.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to discuss financial performance and strategy.

8. Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and implement best practices in financial management and reporting.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging practices to bring innovative ideas to the role.
Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance business partnering role, ideally within a fintech or other regulated fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial software and integrating ERP systems.
