Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Markets Regulatory Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and implementing regulatory requirements that impact our Capital Markets business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of global financial services regulations and be able to provide expert guidance to our teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes affecting our Capital Markets business, with a focus on the US, UK, EU, AUS, and Singapore.
  • Contribute to the development of our Capital Markets strategy and operating platform, ensuring alignment with global regulations.
  • Provide expert interpretation of regulations and guidance from CFTC, NFA, ESMA, FCA, and MAS, as well as other regulatory regimes.
  • Lead complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and ambiguous issues.
  • Collaborate with internal compliance, legal, risk, and control partners to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement risk management programs within functional areas.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of risk management and strategic goals for the bank's business.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations, federal, state, and local laws and regulations acquired through formal education and work experience.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills to consult with partners/clients and analyze information.
  • Extensive risk management or compliance experience.
