Join Our Team as a Chef

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a leading food service company, we provide exceptional food experiences for Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and serving food that meets our high standards of quality and presentation
  • Overseeing and implementing menu changes to ensure our food services remain innovative and exciting
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our food services and implementing changes to enhance the customer experience
  • Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
  • Representing Compass Group UK and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked and maintaining high standards of hygiene
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • A City & Guilds 2 or NVQ equivalent in culinary arts
  • Experience supervising a team and working in a similar Chef role
  • A flexible approach to working and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
