Job Summary:

Axiom Talent Platform is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for advising clients on complex legal and regulatory issues across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on legal and regulatory matters related to financial services, including MiFID II, UCITS V, AIFMD, CASS, CRD IV, EMIR, Dodd Frank, DGSD, FSMA, RDR, CCP clearing, CCA, Payment Services Directive, Market Abuse Directive, and FATCA.
  • Develop and implement legal and regulatory change projects, including the creation of template agreements and negotiation guidelines.
  • Assist the business team in establishing new product offerings and setting out the regulatory and legal framework for distribution of structured products and alternative investments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure firm compliance and implement regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Good academic credentials and post-qualification experience.
  • In-house legal experience is preferred (directly, or as a secondee).
  • Strong commercial understanding and excellent interpersonal skills.
