Field Service Engineer for Pump Systems

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Pump Service Engineer to join our team. This role involves working primarily in the field, focusing on the maintenance and repair of sewage treatment systems and pumps.
Compensation:
Salary range: £33,000 to £35,000, based on experience. Additional benefits include a company vehicle, fuel card, and overtime pay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting service calls and troubleshooting issues on sewage treatment facilities and wastewater systems.
- Managing both electrical and mechanical components of the systems.
- Collaborating with the scheduling team and reporting any work-related issues while keeping clients informed.
- Providing feedback on parts utilized and necessary work for quotes in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintaining an organized inventory of parts and tools in your vehicle.
- Delivering on-the-job training as directed by your supervisor.
- Engaging with clients on-site during service tasks.
- Utilizing a mobile application to manage your daily assignments.
- Completing detailed reports after each site visit.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience in the sewage treatment sector or a comparable engineering position.
- Effective communication skills, as the role is predominantly remote.
- Strong problem-solving abilities in challenging environments.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 17th, 18th, or 19th edition electrical certifications (not mandatory).
- CSCS card (not mandatory).
- Valid UK driving license.
- Experience working in confined spaces (not mandatory).
