Role Overview: As a Pump Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the operational efficiency of our sewage treatment facilities and pump maintenance agreements. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the upkeep and reliability of essential systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and servicing of equipment, ensuring adherence to planned maintenance schedules and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Utilize your mechanical and electrical skills to perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct on-site training as required, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in the sewage treatment sector or a related engineering field.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly via mobile devices, as the role primarily involves remote work.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines.
  • Possession of 17th, 18th, or 19th edition electrical certifications is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • CSCS card is preferred but not essential.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.
  • Experience working in confined spaces is beneficial but not a prerequisite.
