About the Role

We are seeking skilled engineers to join our team as Engineering Trainers. As a further education provider, we offer an engaging and motivational workplace where you will provide mentoring and guidance to Manufacturing & Engineering apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments for further education engineering subjects
  • Develop course materials, including handouts and reference materials, to support learner development
  • Deliver practical training to apprentices and adults, creating a motivational learning environment
  • Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and progress reports

Requirements

  • Time served apprentice, relevant City and Guilds (part 3) qualification, or full Technical Certificate or national Certificate or higher
  • Level 3 (or higher) teacher training qualification (desired)
  • A1 and V1 (desired)
  • Industrial experience combined with knowledge of current industry and best practice standards (desirable)
  • Good presentation and communication skills
