About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at the West Midlands Regional Adult CF Centre. As a specialist in respiratory care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with cystic fibrosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision.
  • Assist with supervision, education, and assessment of the performance of physiotherapy students to a graduate standard and involve working with universities to ensure the standard of practice and teaching meets the standards set by the degree level qualification.
  • Assist with the supervision, education, and coordination of physiotherapy assistants, physiotherapy technical instructors, and junior physiotherapists.

Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
    • Registered with Health Professions Council
    • A levels or equivalent qualification
    • Good standard of general education, including GCSE maths and English grade C and above
    • Evidence of CPD, including recent postgraduate training relevant to clinical specialty
    • Experience of working on a physiotherapy on-call service
    • Supervision of student physiotherapists and assistants
  • Desirable:
    • Experience within respiratory physiotherapy/NIV
    • Experience in and around critical care environment
    • Committed to developing expertise within physiotherapy and clinical specialty
