Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our Retail Banking Fit-out projects in the North-West. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the site team to ensure the project is delivered safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct daily site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure all personnel are aware of site-specific hazards and procedures.
- Monitor and control site costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
- Collaborate with the Contracts Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered to the required quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure a positive and professional image for MCG Construction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on Retail Banking Fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
- CSCS Card, First Aid at Work, and SMSTS certification.
