About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Doufre Construction. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the Team: You will be responsible for organizing and supervising the site operations, working closely with the Branch Manager to ensure that everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
  • Making Sure We're Ready: You will be responsible for ordering materials and services, ensuring that all necessary equipment and resources are available to complete the project.
  • Safety First: You will be responsible for preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and ensuring that all work is carried out safely, following our strict health and safety standards.
  • Quality Control: You will be responsible for ensuring that the Quality Plan is in place and that records are kept to maintain our high standards.
  • Keeping Everyone Informed: You will be responsible for attending coordination and safety meetings, providing updates and addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Reporting and Admin: You will be responsible for preparing weekly reports and managing the weekly wages, ensuring that everything is accurate and ready for approval.
Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge: You will have solid experience in the flat roofing industry and any knowledge of facade and cladding works is a huge plus.
  • Leadership Skills: You will be confident in managing a team and leading by example on site.
  • Qualified: You will hold an SMSTS qualification and ideally you either have or are working towards a CSCS Black Card.
  • Organised and Tech Savvy: You will be comfortable using computers and have a good grasp of general software to keep things running efficiently.
  • Problem Solver: You will be able to think on your feet and are not afraid to tackle challenges head on.
